Theothoros Economopoulos was born in 1979 in Athens, Greece. He received his Bachelor in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., with honors 2:1 in 2001. He also received his M.Sc. in Internet Technology from he Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., with honors. He worked as software engineer for over two years in a Greek private company ISI Hellas. He is currently attending a postgraduate course on Biomedical Engineering at the Inter-Departmental Educational Program of the University of Patras and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He is also candidate for a Ph.D degree at the National Technical University of Athens. His interest include registration and fusion of medical data from various imaging modalities and non linear processing.
