Aleka Vlachokosta received her Diploma in Informatics in 2003, from the University of Piraeus and her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Inter-Departmental Educational Program of the University of Patras and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens in 2005. She is also candidate for a Ph.D degree at the National Technical University of Athens. Her research interests include development of image registration techniques and medical image processing.
