The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) will be opening this new post-graduate course in October 2014.
MSCM & ISM will be the first postgraduate subject specifically dedicated to in silico medicine. This is a really positive sign for the VPH community that reinforces the increasing importance of computer simulation in medical research.
The subject has been proposed by Research Professor Georgios Stamatakos, ICCS-NTUA, coordinator of the running VPH project CHIC “Computational Horizons In Cancer” (http://chic-vph.eu/)
